Kyuhyun sighed as he sat down on his living room couch.
Donghae came into the living room, handing him a beer bottle as he sat down on
a lounge chair across from him.
Donghae gave the younger male a small smile as he asked,
“What’s with the long face?”
“Just thinking,” Kyuhyun replied as he popped open his beer
bottle and took a small swig of it. Donghae gave him a curious look, “Thinking
about what?”
“That being single is getting tiresome,” he confessed. The
older male laughed, “You just noticed?”
“Don’t rub it in my face,” Kyuhyun mumbled, “Just because
you’re with Jessica and being a damn happy fish…”
“I am a damn happy fish,” Donghae chuckled.
I think I need me a girl
“So what are you going to do?” the older male asked as he
took a drink of his soda.
Kyuhyun looked at his beer bottle as an image of a familiar
girl popped into his head. He smiled as he took a small swig of his drink and
replied, “I’m thinking about getting a girlfriend.”
“Oh really?” Donghae stared at him curiously, “Do I know
her?”
“You know her very well,” he replied with a chuckle. The
older male stopped mid-drink and then asked surprised, “Really? Who is it? Is
it Yoona? Yuri?”
Kyuhyun gave him a blank look, “No, you fish…”
“Then who is it?” Donghae asked impatiently.
The younger male sighed, “It’s my childhood noona,
Seohyun.”
“Seohyun?”

One that speaks without thinking
“You’re going to die sooner if you continue to eat that.”
Kyuhyun stopped, mouth wide open as his eyes averted from
the hamburger at hand to stare at the woman in front of him.
Seohyun gave him a sweet smile as she took a bite of her
salad. He gave a small chuckle as he slowly set down the burger and mumbled,
“Thank you for bluntly telling me?”
“I’m just saying… It will accumulate and eventually you will
die,” she said, smiling at him.
Kyuhyun shook his head as he sighed, crossing his arms
against his chest. Seohyun giggled softly as she brought her fork filled salad
up, waving it in front of him. He chuckled softly as he leaned forward and took
a bite of the salad.
Not a child, but someone who will
embrace me (Yeah~)
Kyuhyun always loved that trait about her. Even though he
had friends that were younger and older than him, he always loved the many
traits about her. Especially one.
Whenever they saw each other – alone or with a group, she
would always come up to him and hug him for the longest time until one of his
hyung’s made a comment.
Even though she was a year older than him – she acted like a
child most of the time but he always loved that trait of hers. He would always
feel a happy emotion when she hugged him long and tight.
Not a girl who plays around when
she’s bored
But one that will love only me
Most of the girls he knew would play around when they were
bored – or that was how he saw it. He always saw most of the girls gossiping
and flirting around. Honestly he disliked that.
But as he thought of her, he smiled at the fact she had
never done that (he sometimes thought she gave him more attention than any
other guy whenever he saw her).
Just the thought of her loving him made his heart flutter
and a smile on his lips.

They stopped at a coffee shop right before they headed over
to the movie theatre. He decided to go in and buy hot chocolate while she
waited outside of the coffee shop (he told her to come inside since it was cold
but she reasoned she was okay and there was a lot of people inside – he
couldn’t win against her).
As he waited in line, he took a glance outside and as she
had her hands in her coat pockets, scarf wrapped around her neck, just looking
up at the sky. Just standing still like any other person, a flock of guys came
over – trying to pick her up.

Proudly take out and show my picture
Kyuhyun sighed as he moved slightly in the line and took
another glance outside. He saw her say something to the flock of men and he
smiled when she took out her phone.
Seohyun proudly showed the men a picture of the two and even
pointed to him inside the coffee shop. The flock of men glanced at who she
pointed at and he smirked as he saw them groan – bidding an apology as they
walked away.

Even when he was little kid, he always thought she was
pretty. Even though she would always comment on her looks and body – he thought
otherwise.
Whatever she did was pretty (he even thought her nagging was
pretty) but he never said anything at that young age (he didn’t realize his
feelings).

He never really understood his feelings when he was a young
boy. Whenever he hung out with other people, he sometimes would feel the want
to see her and be with her.
Honestly, he never understood that feeling and pushed it
away when he was younger and he wondered to himself if she ever felt like that
(and she did even though he never asked).
But now that he was older and being at the age of 24 (her
being 25), he understood that feeling.
A kind of girl that looks better in
jeans than a skirt
He told his friends he liked a girl with pretty legs and God
damn, he loved her legs.
Whenever he saw her wearing a skirt, he always wanted to run
up and take off his jacket to cover her legs (he wanted it all for himself).
But even though he loved seeing her in a skirt, he also
loved it when she wore jeans (and she wore it frequently). Just the way the
skinny jeans she wore hugged her legs made it ever so enticing for him.
And honestly, he liked that kind of girl who wore jeans than
a skirt – it made him imagine.
A girl who will eat my kimchi fried
rice I made
Kyuhyun fumbled with the kitchen utensils as Seohyun looked
over at him and giggled at the sight. The male heaved a sigh but he didn’t give
up on making the kimchi fried rice.
“Are you sure you know how to make it?” Seohyun asked with a
smile. Kyuhyun could only give a small grunt, “Of course I do… I’ve made it
quite a few times.”
“It doesn’t show,” Seohyun joked. Kyuhyun gave her a frown,
“Just sit in the dining room – it’s almost done anyway.”
“Don’t kill me,” she joked once more and ran away into the
dining room. The male could only shake his head as he smiled and fumbled once
more with the kitchen utensils.
After a few more minutes in the kitchen, Kyuhyun came out
with his finished kimchi fried rice dish and placed it on the table. He handed
Seohyun a spoon, chopsticks, and a fork for her to choose. She giggled softly
and took the spoon, not hesitating one bit as she took a bite of the finished
product.
“So…?” Kyuhyun asked hesitantly. Seohyun gave him a thumb’s
up and a smile as she said, “It tastes amazing, Kyuhyun!”
Kyuhyun smiled and sat down next to her as she continued to
eat some and also fed him a little bit of his finished product. His heart
fluttered as he watched her eat the dish.
A girl who looks young even though
she’s old
I like that kind of girl (Know what
I mean?)
He had dated some younger woman before but somehow later in
the relationship, he never felt a certain connection he did with older woman.
He didn’t know why (he thought it had to do something with Seohyun).
Sometimes Seohyun would complain about her age and how she
looked old but he thought otherwise. Even if she was a year older, she looked
absolutely gorgeous and young – he told her every time and she would smile.
Kyuhyun knew at that moment he liked an older woman and he
didn’t mind it one bit.
A girl who acts shy
But knows how to be bold
Seohyun acted shy whenever she met new people and he found
that really adorable. He found the little traits she did absolutely adorable –
the way she wouldn’t make direct eye contact at first and fumble with her hands.
Even though she was shy when she met new people, when she
found a topic that was interesting or needs to be reasoned, she would speak her
mind and be bold about it.
And he would find that adorable at how her shyness will be
evaporated as quickly as possible. He found the little things adorable.
Always pretends to be careful of her
behavior
Seohyun would keep a careful behavior around their groups of
friends, always calm and reasonable. Somewhat like a guardian angel the group
would comment since she would in a way look out for them.
She was a calm and collected who thought everything through
and made careful decisions. Except when it came to food, she wouldn’t think but
speak her mind (she was really against junk food and the girls would laugh at
her reasoning).
But when you’re with her…

But whenever the two were alone, well…
“Kyuhyun, why do you never leave the shades down?” Seohyun
mumbled sleepily as she snuggled closer to the younger male.
Kyuhyun chuckled softly as he pulled the blanket up closer
to their bodies as he mumbled back, “Because I want to see your morning face
better.”
“Pabo, you’re weird,” Seohyun grumbled out and slowly
fell back asleep. Kyuhyun smiled as he ran a hand through her hair, “I can’t
always see this expression…”
“Only when I sleepover,” she commented and he chuckled, “And
I love it.”

“So, how is your girl situation now?” Donghae asked as they
walked through the grocery store. Kyuhyun smiled as he picked out some
ingredients for kimchi fried rice, “Great.”
“Oh really? Are you and Seohyun…” his voice trailed off and
the younger male shrugged as he thought for a second, “Seohyun and I are…
getting there…”

“What do you mean, “getting there”? Explain yourself!”
Donghae asked. Kyuhyun gave him a weird look, “Why are you so curious about
this?”
“Because you finally might have a girlfriend for longer than
a month,” the older male said bluntly. Kyuhyun gave him an odd look as he
answered, “We’re just taking it slow.”
“Slow? Please, that’s a lie!” Donghae laughed out loudly,
punching the younger male softly on the arm. Kyuhyun glared at him, “I’m
serious. We’re taking it slow as we’re transferring from a childhood
friend-base relationship to a more serious one…”
“Alright, alright,” Donghae chuckled, “Sorry for judging you
but best of luck.”

Looks are not an issue
But a cute girl who has style
Seohyun wasn’t a person into fashion but she wasn’t ugly to
say the least. In one’s mind, they might think her look is just plain but that
is what Kyuhyun liked about her.
Even though her look was plain compared to other girls, he
still liked it since she would sometimes add a few accessories or change her
hairstyle. Whichever way she dressed herself, she looked cute and gorgeous to
him.
Even though our hobbies are
different, our tastes are the same
A girl that I can relate too when we
watch movies or listen to music
Their group of friends always wondered how they got along
(besides their childhood friendship) and started to wonder how they even came
together in a way.
Kyuhyun was known to be the notorious gamer in the group and
would stay up to early morning just playing games while Seohyun was the
opposite who had a strict time of going to sleep and would read rather than
play games.
So their friends wondered how they could possibly date
one another.
Even though they had different hobbies, the two could relate
to a lot of things.
“Yah, Kyuhyun-ah, did you check out the new Big Bang
album?” Seohyun asked as she fed him a cracker. Kyuhyun shook his head as he
took a bite, “Nope, you should lend it to me.”
Seohyun nodded as she fed him another cracker. The two were
seated in his apartment living room floor. His back leaning against the couch
as he wrapped his arms around her waist as her back snuggled against his chest.
The two were having a “casual” date, just hanging out with
one another as they chatted, catching up and talking about various subjects. As
they talked, they watched the drama that was on TV. Sometimes they would get
distracted from the topic at hand when something interesting came on the drama
that Seohyun had to spazz about.
Kyuhyun laughed at her spazziness that he also joined in
with her as he also thought the same or at least along the same line.

Girls I do adore
Once in a while, he would go to the bars with his hyung’s
(his single hyung’s) and drink some rounds with them. Occasionally, girls would
come up to him and try to flirt with him while his hyung’s groaned.
Even though he loved girls, he would only just smile at them
and wave them off, telling them he was “off the market” and show them a picture
of him and Seohyun.
In front of people, she has
principles as she plays
In front of me, “Aing, I don’t
know~”
Whenever they hung out with their group of friends, she
would keep to herself and play by the rules, understanding it once it was explained
to them. She never had to question the rules of the game unless it was really
needed.
But whenever they hung out alone and decided to play a game,
she would always use her “awkward” (as she calls it) ageyo and pretend
to not know. He would always laugh in the inside, enjoying her show of
cuteness, and pinch her cheeks softly as he would explain the rules once again.
A voice that wakes me up in the
morning
Morning kiss, I wanna start the day
He felt a hand move a few pieces of hair away from his eyes
and he slowly opened his eyes, a smile forming on his lips as he met a familiar
smile.
“Good morning, sleepy head,” Seohyun mumbled out softly as
she continued to run a hand through his hair. Kyuhyun smiled as he closed his
eyes, “Good morning.”
“It’s time to get up,” she said but she didn’t get up. He
chuckled softly, “You’re not up.”
“I will now,” Seohyun giggled out as she got up slowly from
the bed. Kyuhyun grabbed hold of her hand and mumbled out, “No, don’t leave the
bed so soon.”
“We have to get up for work though,” she reasoned out but
laughed in the inside at his reluctance to get out of bed. He groaned and
tugged her hand, indicting for her to get back to sleep as he mumbled out, “No,
not yet. Just sleep a little more…!”
“Here, I’m sure this will get you out of bed,” Seohyun
mumbled. Kyuhyun grunted and opened his eyes to stare at her. Seohyun leaned
forward and gave him a small peck on the lips. His eyes went wide with surprise
as she leaned back and said, “A morning kiss!”
“I’m up, I’m up,” Kyuhyun quickly said and got out of the
bed, fumbling with the sheets along the way. Seohyun laughed at him as she
slowly got out of bed.
I lean on my knees at night
Listening to your lullaby, I want to
dream of you
Once in a while, Seohyun would sleepover (usually over the
weekends so it wouldn’t be a hassle the next day to pick each other up) and she
would be the first one to head to bed first (she has a strict time when she has
to sleep).
Whenever she headed to bed first, Kyuhyun would go over
toward the huge window of his small apartment and kneel down on his knees and
prayed softly. He did this a lot more when they first started dating – hoping
to keep their relationship lasting forever.
After he was done with his prayers, he would trot back into
the bedroom and quietly get into the bed next to her. She would be asleep by
the time he got into bed and he smiled as he looked at her sleeping face,
casually brushing a few strands of hair away from her face.
He closed his eyes and softly listened to her soft breathing
– it was like a lullaby to him and slowly, he would drift into a slumber.

Kyuhyun sat down on his piano chair and stared at the music
sheets in front of him. He sighed softly as he hit random notes on his piano as
he tried to think of some notes.
Suddenly the image of Seohyun popped into his mind and a
smile instantly came onto his lips as his heart started to race. Just the
thought of her sent his heart racing and he picked up a pencil as notes started
to come into his mind.

“Hyung, what kind of ring should I get?” Kyuhyun asked as
they walked around the mall. Donghae almost chocked on the drink he had in his
hand as he blurted out, “A what?!”
“You heard me, a ring,” Kyuhyun mumbled. Donghae stared at
him in gape, “A ring!?”
“Whoa, whoa, are you already asking to marry her?!” the
older male exclaimed. Kyuhyun stared at him in confusion, “What the heck are
you talking about?”
“You’re getting her a ring, right?” Donghae asked and the
male nodded. Donghae stared at him longer, “Isn’t that, like, asking her to
marry you!?”
“Dude, hyung, I’m getting a promise ring,” Kyuhyun replied,
“I’m not going to ask her to marry me… Well, not yet, at least…”
“Oh, jeez, that is good,” Donghae sighed out and shook his
head. He grinned and pulled the younger male into a jewelry store, “Here, this
store is the best for rings.”
Kyuhyun smiled and followed the older male into the store.
He drifted away from the male to look at some engagement rings as he mumbled
out, “I know for sure, Seohyun, you’re the person I want to give my heart too…”
“But like hyung said, it’s too early…” he chuckled and went
to look around.

“A promise ring?” Seohyun questioned and smiled at the tiara
type ring. She put it on her left hand ring finger as she stared at it, “It’s
beautiful…”
“I hope this doesn’t come to a surprise,” Kyuhyun hesitated
as he rubbed the back of his neck, “You know, since our relationship is just
developing out of our friendship and…”
Seohyun silenced it with a kiss on his lips. Kyuhyun stared
at her with surprise as she smiled and said, “Actually, I was waiting for one, pabo.”
Kyuhyun grinned over toward her as he pulled her into a hug.
Seohyun laughed softly as she hugged him back and asked, “I should probably
find one for you too.”
“No worries, I actually got a crown one,” Kyuhyun pulled
away from the hug and showed her his ring finger. Seohyun smiled as he
explained, “Since you are my princess and hopefully I am your prince…”
“You are my shining prince,” Seohyun giggled out as she
kissed him softly on the lips.

“So, with these promise rings then I guess you are
officially mine then, right…?” Kyuhyun asked her hesitantly after a moment’s of
silence. Seohyun smiled over at him as she teased, “I don’t know… There are
plenty of other men out there…”
Kyuhyun frowned softly at her as he pulled her closer in the
hug and held her tighter as he mumbled out, “I’ll treat you right, Seohyun…”
“I know you will,” Seohyun whispered back, giggling softly,
“I love you.”
“I love you too,” he smiled and thought, Now and forever…

“So, you and Seohyun are official then?” Donghae asked and
Kyuhyun was grinning from ear to ear, “Hell yeah we are.”
“After so long,” Donghae cheered and laughed, “You’re no

too!”
“Yeah, because Jessica was always violent and I took it the
wrong way!” the older male retorted. Kyuhyun laughed, “And I told you that it
was her way of affection!”

“Oh, just be quiet!” Donghae shoved the younger male softly.
Kyuhyun continued to laugh as they continued to play their video games.
Donghae chuckled softly and asked, “So when are you going to
pop the question?”
“In a few years,” Kyuhyun answered and laughed, “Or when I’m
too impatient for her to be my wife.”
“Remember to ask me to be your best man,” Donghae laughed
out. Kyuhyun shook his head as he smiled, “You would have to get through the
other hyung’s!”

Seohyun smiled as she sat down next to the male. She looped
an arm around his and rested her head on his shoulder as she asked, “What game
are you playing?”
“Call of Duty. Hyung is facing off with me right now,”
Kyuhyun explained and smiled as he gave her a kiss on the forehead for a
second. Seohyun gasped as she exclaimed, “You just lost!”
“Eh, it’s fine,” Kyuhyun shrugged, “I’ll get back at him later
on, you know?”
Seohyun giggled as she nodded, “Because you are Game Kyu,
right?”
“The one and only,” Kyuhyun laughed and paused the game,
“You want to play?”
“Isn’t it a bit violent?” she asked him and he nodded his
head slightly, “Just a little. It is a shooting game so yeah…”
“If I were to play now, you might lose though,” she
reasoned. He shrugged his shoulders as he said, “I don’t mind.”
“Okay,” Seohyun smiled and took the controller from him.
Girl, are you listening to me?
Baby, I need you, Girl, you need me
too
“Oh jeez, you didn’t listen very well,” Kyuhyun laughed as
someone shot her once more. Seohyun pouted and handed him the controller, “I’m
just not good at games.”
“You’re just not good at listening to me,” he teased and she
stuck out her tongue at him. He laughed once more and nudged her, “You weren’t
listening that is why!”
“I was listening!” Seohyun pouted and looked away from the
male. Kyuhyun smiled and wrapped an arm around her shoulder as he whispered,
“Well, can you listen to this?”
She didn’t answer him and he whispered softly into her ear,
“Would you marry me?”

Seohyun stared at him in shock as she asked, “Are you asking
me to marry you?”
“Did I say that?” Kyuhyun asked instead of answered as he
smiled.
“Jeez, at least make a better proposal,” she pouted but
smiled later. He chuckled softly as he asked her, “So, is that a yes?”
“Not unless you ask me in a more romantic way,” Seohyun
giggled out as she smiled at him. Kyuhyun laughed and asked in a romantic
voice, “Seohyun-ah, will you marry me?”
Seohyun lightly punched him on the shoulder as she said,
“You know what I mean!”
“I love you!” Kyuhyun chuckled out as he kissed her softly
on the lips.
